A line level, stereo headphone jack similar to the one found on most computers and iPods connects the ADAU1701 Digital Signal Processor to the outside word.
Audio is then processed via the Analog Device Sigma Studio software and the program is loaded into the onboard eeprom. Conditioned audio then exits the DSP and is combined with a 40KHZ carrier signal which then drives 39 ultrasonic piezo transducers.
